When summer hits its peak, Fairmont Senior Living on Clayton knows how to celebrate in style, and this year’s Summer Festival Garden Party was one for the books. Held on July 31, this lively event brought together residents, families, team members, and special guests for an afternoon of entertainment, education, and heartfelt community connection.

One of the most exciting highlights of the day was the presence of KTRS 5.50 AM Radio and well-known local personality Heidi Glaus. Their energy helped shine a spotlight on the event and even inspired attendees to give back, raising $350 for the Alzheimer’s Association in the process.

We were also honored to welcome Dr. Hedva Barenholtz Levy, author of “Maybe It’s Your Medications.” Not only did she attend the festival, but she generously donated a copy of her book to our resource library—a valuable tool for families and caregivers navigating the complexities of aging and medications.

Celebrating Life and Legacy

Every event at Fairmont is an opportunity to recognize the vibrant individuals who make up our community, and this year’s Summer Festival was no exception. The spotlight shone brightly on Mrs. Gerson, who celebrated her 90th birthday and was crowned “Queen of the Summer Festival.” Her grace, warmth, and enduring spirit were the heart of the celebration.
